Stitchin with the Staff...
We all have projects to finish, so why not bring them in
and sew with friends? We’ll hold the classes on each Monday from 10am to whenever! No cost. Call the shop
to reserve a space.
Two new Block-of-the-Months just for animal lovers...
"Muchas Poochas" BOM
 Dog-lovers beware! This playful design, by
Karen Brow of Java House Quilts, features
man's best friend at their best. Super cute,
and just begging for your love, these applique
pups never have to be fed, or walked. Rich
batiks (except for the inner border) give the
quilt a warm, cuddly feel, and the 9" finished
blocks are finished with a leash border,
bringing it all together in a wonderful,
48" x 60" quilt.
During this 9-month block-of-the-month
program, you will receive the patterns
(including full-sized applique designs) and
fabrics needed to complete the quilt top,
including the borders and binding.
Cost: $24.95/mo. plus S&H for each kit.

"Ballerina Kitties" BOM 
This quilt is perfect for any little girl who
loves kitties! This whimsical design by
Amy Bradley Designs features dancing
ballerina kitties in a variety of poses.
These applique kitties can be machine
or hand appliqued. The quilt also includes
letters to customize a name on the quilt.
Finished size is 60" x 93".
Each month during this 6-month
block-of-the-month program, you will receive
the pattern, enough fabric to complete the
block and finishing instructions on the final
month to complete the quilt. Backing fabric
is separate.

Beginning Quilting 101: 
...with the Bearly Quilting Staff
This is a 5-week course designed for the
beginning or inexperienced quilter. Learn
the basics of quilting...from using the
proper tools and supplies to picking the
right styles, colors, and types of fabric.
Classes will be held each Tuessday
afternoon according to the following
schedule:

Classes: Tues. June 12th, 19th, 26th,
July 3rd & 10th from 2-4:30pm

Beginning Machine Quilting: ..with Jill Schumacher
This is a beginning class where you will learn
the art of free motion heirloom machine
quilting. You will learn to machine quilt using
your own home sewing machine to quilt loops
and curves, free motion designs, and a
feathered wreath. Learn to stipple and much,
much more. You will also learn how to
properly pin your quilt top and prepare it for
quilting. Many tips are shared in this valuable
introduction to machine quilting. This is
always a popular class, so sign up early to
reserve your spot!

"Sew What": ...with the Bearly Quilting Staff
Join us at the shop on the 4th Thursday of each month and enjoy an evening of quilting, sewing, relaxing, and meeting new friends. This is a great way to finish all those UFOs or to start a new project. Classes held 5-9pm. Call to reserve your space. No Charge!

New York Beauty: ...with the Bearly Quilting Staff
Did you ever thinnk a New York Beauty quilt couldn't
happen in your lifetime? Well think again! With
Linda Hahn's method, you too can make this striking
quilt. Linda has simplified the pattern and we will
guide you through the techniques to help you achieve
a stunning quilt. This is a 3-session class held on
consecutive Thursday nights according to the
following schedule:

HandiQuilter "Pro-Stitcher": ...with Larry
Gain the confidence of using the
"Pro-Stitcher" to its full advantage!
This is an individual, one-on-one,
class where you will learn to master
the basic functions of the "Pro-Stitcher".
Learn how to select, download, and
import patterns; resize, rotate, mirror,
crop, and repeat patterns; master
edge-to-edge and border-to-border
quilting...and much, much more. You
will leave with a finished quilt sampler
incorporating a variety of quilting motifs
that you can copy and use on your
other quilting projects. This class is
conducted at Bearly Quilting with all
materials supplied...just bring your
"Pro-Stitcher" owner's manual and a
notebook for taking notes.
Classes are held from 10am - 5pm and
can be tailored to meet your individual
needs and level of experience. Contact
the shop to schedule your personalized
training session and start quilting like a

Bearly Quilting’s Class Policy
You may register for classes at the shop or by phone. Class reservations will only be confirmed when accompanied with full payment. A supply list will be issued as soon as possible prior to the class beginning. A 10% discount is offered on all supply list items with your paid enrollment. Refunds and/or store credits will gladly be given if you notify us of your need to cancel a class at least (7) days prior to the scheduled class date. No refunds or credits will be given if the 7-day notice requirement is not met. We stand by this policy to assure our teachers that the minimum enrollment has been met, and to guarantee those taking the class that it will be a “go”. If Bearly Quilting cancels a class, a full refund will be given.
